Oxidation atmosphere

A semi-matte dark green glaze with subtle crackles, breaking to dark brown/black on rims and edges. This is a stable glaze with medium fluidity when it is fired to 1190°C.

The images show the glaze applied over a slightly speckled stoneware fired to 1190°C in an oxidation atmosphere and cooled slowly. Results may vary slightly depending on the kiln, the chemical composition of raw materials, and the type of stoneware.
