Oxidation atmosphere

A semi-matte dark brown glaze, smooth to the touch. This is a stable glaze with medium to low fluidity when it is fired to 1260ºC, slighly more fluid and glossy when it is fired to 1270ºC.

The images show the glaze applied over a slightly speckled stoneware and fired to 1260°C in an oxidation atmosphere. Results may vary slightly depending on the kiln, the chemical composition of raw materials, and the type of stoneware.
