Cone 7 / 1220ºC
Oxidation atmosphere
A satin-matte ochre glaze with a very smooth texture, breaking to tan/orange on rims and edges. This is a stable glaze with medium fluidity when it is fired to 1220°C.
The images show the glaze applied over a slightly speckled stoneware fired to 1220°C in an oxidation atmosphere and cooled slowly. Results may vary depending on the kiln, the chemical composition of raw materials, and the type of stoneware.
