Online Shop

My online shop is updated a few times a year. There is a relatively high demand for my work and I can only produce a limited quantity of pieces which means that my online shop can sell out quickly. If you would like to know when my online shop is updated, you can follow me on social media or subscribe to my newsletter with your email address.

Shipping

All orders are sent from my studio in the Highlands of Scotland.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked or DPD which are both tracked services. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and the delivery address you entered during checkout.

I cannot accept any responsibility for lost or stolen packages. It is your responsibility to provide accurate details and a secure delivery address during checkout to ensure the safe delivery of your package. Please note that I have the right to ask for another delivery address or cancel your order if I suspect the address provided is not acceptable.

If your package appears to be missing, please check that it is not held at your local post office after a failed delivery attempt or use the tracking number. If you received a notice of delivery from the carrier but cannot find your package, please notify me via email within 3 days.

Tax & Duties

You may have to pay customs charges upon delivery. Customs charges and policies may vary from a country to another. I am unable to determine or predict what these charges may be this is why I would advise you to contact your local customs office to get more information before you place an order.

I am not responsible for customs charges and you must pay for these in full.

Delivery times may vary due to customs processing.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are considered final, I cannot accept returns or exchanges unless you received a broken item.

If you received a broken item, please get in touch via email within 3 days from delivery.

Restaurants & Cafés

Occasionally, I am able to work on small tableware orders for restaurants and cafés.

Wholesale

Unfortunately, I am unable to work on wholesale orders.

Studio

I love our planet very much and I believe that everybody has a part to play in reducing his/her own impact on the environment. This is why I try to reuse, repair and recycle as much as possible.

I try to reduce the amount of energy used in the studio as much as possible. Lights and electrical equipment are switched off when not in use. Heating is adjusted with energy consumption in mind.

I evaluate the environmental impact of any new products I intend to purchase. Cleaning products used in the studio are as environmentally friendly as possible and are only used when necessary.

I favour local and responsible suppliers, whether it is for clay or any other materials I use in the studio.

Packaging

The cardboard boxes I use are made from 75% recycled fibres and are fully recyclable. I use a mix of fully recyclable kraft paper and compostable foam chips as an alternative to plastic bubble wrap. I also use fully recyclable kraft paper tape to seal packages.

I use environmentally friendly shipping methods whenever possible and I propose a free pickup option for customers who would like to stop by the studio and pick up their order.

Care & Use

As my pieces are handmade, they require a little more care than mass-produced ceramics.

My pieces can be washed in the dishwasher, however regular dishwasher use may shorten their lifespan which is why I recommend washing them by hand to preserve their appearance. Although my pieces can be used in the oven and the microwave, I recommend keeping them at room temperature to avoid thermal shocks which could cause cracks.

Over time, my pieces will likely show small scratches and cutlery marks which is normal. These marks can be removed with a mixture of warm soapy water and baking soda. Alternatively, you can use commercial stoneware cleaners.

Studio Visits

Visits are only possible by appointment.
